Digital Communication & Networking course concentrates at detailed knowledge of all the aspects of digital communication and network engineering. Objective of the course is to create qualified communication system professionals in the society which will ultimately change entire facet of the nation.

 

Introduction

The program aims to cover the fundamental principles of communication and networking and later deals with the internet protocol design, network application development, mobile networking, network security and design of internet of things based applications.

The program disseminates to students the deeper knowledge in modern digital communication systems and networks at the theoretical & practical level. The purpose of this program is to introduce students to the principles and applications of computer networks and prepare them to design and develop future generation mobile communication systems and networks. This area has been witnessing huge advancement, especially in wireless networks including 4G and 5G cellular networks, Bluetooth, Wireless Sensor Networks, Vehicular Communications, WAP, Embedded networks, internet of things and others. Network security concepts and design will also be covered in this program emphasizing the role of cryptography and web security.

Getting Started

Admission to M.Tech Course shall be open to the candidates who have passed the prescribed qualifying examinations with not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations. However, in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and Group I, the aggregate percentage of marks in the qualifying examinations shall not be less than 45%.

Qualifying Examination

Admission to M.Tech.
